Software licence

CHEQIT software is licensed, not sold. During private preview, installation and use are limited to approved evaluation, pilot, and customer deployments with a valid online or offline activation.

Licence notes

Activation controls the right to run CHEQIT.

These notes summarise the current public download posture. A separate signed customer agreement, order form, or pilot agreement takes precedence where one exists.

Approved deploymentsInstall CHEQIT only on systems and camera estates covered by an ORTUS-issued licence or written pilot approval.
Activation requiredConnected installations require online activation. Disconnected installations require an offline licence key generated by ORTUS systems.
Camera limitsLicence entitlements, camera counts, features, and expiry dates are enforced by the installed app and License Manager.

Restrictions

No redistributionDo not redistribute installers, signed bundles, offline keys, licence files, or activation material outside the approved customer environment.
No circumventionDo not bypass activation, licence checks, feature gates, update signatures, or entitlement controls.
No reverse engineeringDo not decompile, modify, or derive source from proprietary CHEQIT software except where applicable law or an included third-party licence permits that activity.
Third-party rightsIncluded open-source components remain governed by their own notices and licences. Those terms prevail for the relevant component and may permit replacement, modification, or reverse engineering for debugging changes.
